The book did not progress as I hoped and it has left me thinking on whether the Shatter Me series should have stayed a trilogy. There were random gaps where stuff happened but we don’t get that, we get random other characters POV. Sabaa Tahir, New York Times bestselling author of Ember in the Ashes'A Very Large Expanse of Sea reads like a beautiful heart - one that shines and aches and yearns, and above all else, one that loves fiercely against all odds. Years from now, you will remember exactly where you were and what you were doing when you experienced this.

Although split POV works well when characters are together, the three of them were all doing different things and the plot kept jumping around between them so much that I stopped caring about any of them. Juliette and Warner's story continues in the thrilling fifth installment of Tahereh Mafi's New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series. Then he goes on his own arc of redemption, and usually I hate it when men are redeemed because they’ve met someone, but he didn’t initially want to redeem himself because he liked Juliette/Ella; but because she gave him hope.

Both within each scene and throughout the entire book, if I didn’t have the characters’ faces and descriptions memorized, it’d be hard to even get a sense of what they were like. I just love Warner, I adore Kenji and I like Juliette (or Ella) and therefore I’ll always be happy to read more about them. Mafi excels at writing scenes like these because she is able to channel in Juliette’s emotions so perfectly. She was born in a small city somewhere in Connecticut and currently resides in Santa Monica, California, with her husband, Ransom Riggs, fellow bestselling author of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, and their young daughter.

But seriously this girl needs a rest from all this and I can't even ima

I know you all think the children of the supreme commanders are a bunch of carefree, amoral psychopaths, happy to be the military robots our parents wanted us to be, but nothing is ever that straightforward. I wish that their engagement could be attached to somewhere that’s sentimental for them rather than just a tent in the middle of nowhere. I feel like we were cheated out of descriptions of Juliette’s day-to-day life that really would have expanded the story to a more meaningful level. She currently resides in Southern California with her husband, fellow author Ransom Riggs, and their daughter. And she was nothing to them just an experiment and they never ever treated her and Emmaline as human.
